Pierre-Louis Le Faou

Pierre-Louis Le Faou is the President of LFC Partners which he founded in 2004. He is also Senior Advisor of STJ Advisors LLP, based in London, the leading independant Capital Markets Advisory Firm.

Prior to founding LFC Partners, Pierre-Louis was a member of the Executive Management Committee of BNP Paribas Corporate Finance Group which he co-founded when joining Paribas in 1993. Based in London, he ran the International Teams and several industry sector Groups (Healthcare, distribution and Large Industrials) and advised large multinational groups and private equity firms in Mergers and Acquisitions, public tender offers and capital raising. In 1984 and 1987, he advised the banks’ lending group in the restructuring of the Eurotunnel debt (£8bn).

Before joining Paribas, Pierre-Louis worked at Salomon Brothers (Citigroup) in New York in 1986 as a Director in the New York M&A group and then moved to London where he became co-head of the M&A group for Europe. In 1992 he joined CSFB (Credit Suisse) investment banking group in London
Prior to this, he was successively a Partner with KPMG in New York until 1982 and a Partner with Deloitte (Touche) in New York (1982-1986) where he co-founded the US Corporate Finance Group.

Pierre-Louis is a member of the funds raising committee of the Fondation HEC. He holds an MBA from HEC Business School in Paris and a LLM in Corporate Law from the Paris University. He also qualified as a CPA (NY State and France).
